Description
As rare as it gets. This watch is what money can't buy from Rolex. They no longer produce the Datejust model in solid gold, nor do they make any Datejust's with black Onyx stone dials. As well, the only model in Rolex's current range that features a solid gold Jubilee bracelet is seen on the GMT-Master II - the similar Day-Date range all come on President bracelets. Features include matching 18K yellow gold hands, running centre seconds, diamonds hour markers set in gold numerals at 6 + 9, quick-set date, screw-down crown and fluted bezel.

Condition
The watch is in excellent condition commensurate with its age, showing just light surface wear on the case and bracelet. The gold displays a beautiful patina, with uniform light oxidation across surfaces (which could be removed with a gold cloth if desired, but why would you do that?). It appears unpolished, with the original case contours and bevels all still sharp and well defined.
